Who is eligible for First Steps?
A child, age birth to three, may be eligible for First
Steps if he/she meets any of the following criteria:
20% Delay in two or more areas of development
OR
25% Delay in one or more areas of development
OR
A specific medical condition(s), diagnosed by a physician, that has
a high probability of resulting in developmental delay per First Steps
definitions.
*A need for services must be documented by the child's physician
